On Monday, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish released its depth charts for this weekend's game against the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. It was, however, not entirely accurate due to injuries. On Tuesday they released a revised version -- but there are still some questionable things on them.
The offense is fairly intact from last week. Tight end Cooper Flanagan is back on the depth chart and Jordan Faison is back to 100%. Offensive lineman Billy Schrauth was listed as questionable, and it's probably unlikely that he plays this week.
The defense took a massive hit this week, and for this season, with the loss of cornerback Benjamin Morrison. Freshman Leonard Moore will step into the starting role opposite of Christian Gray. Fellow freshman, Karson Hobbs, is now listed as the backup at both corner positions, and at the nickel as well. Despite Hobbs' place on the depth chart, we will probably see an increased role from both Jordan Clark and Rod Heard. Jason Onye is also listed on the depth chart, but to the best of my knowledge, he has not returned to the team from absence for personal reasons. Also... it's kind of strange that Jaylen Sneed is still listed as the Rover starter while only getting 10-15 snaps per game (roughly).
Mitch Jeter is listed as the starting kicker this week, but Marcus Freeman also said that he's questionable for Saturday. If he can't go, it's probable that Zac Yoakam. Max Hurleman is back on the depth chart as the punt returner along with Jordan Faison and Jaden Greathouse.
