Oliver Bearman will fill for Haas F1 driver Kevin Magnussen in Brazil this weekend, the team announced Friday (Nov. 1). Magnussen will sit out the race weekend due to an illness which caused him to sit out the on-track sessions on Friday.
Bearman already completed the practice and sprint qualifying sessions on Friday. He will start 10th for the sprint race on Saturday and was third in the lone practice session earlier in the day.
Bearman has made two starts on the season with both Ferrari and Haas with a best finish of seventh in Jeddah and a 10th-place finish in Baku. Bearman has already been announced as one of the two Haas drivers for 2025.
Haas currently sits sixth in the constructors' standings as they enter the Brazilian Grand Prix weekend with Bearman and teammate Nico Hulkenberg.
