In thanks for the individuals and churches (55) who contributed to North Carolina Disaster Relief, we want to recognize what's possible.

From Grand Forks to Breckenridge and Casselton to the F-M metro area, people brought in over 500 quilts, blankets, comforters, 166 pajamas, jackets, personal hygiene totes and boxes, over 29 cleaning buckets, and so many other needed items.

Because of their locale, others chose to give monetary donations. These monetary donations will help with gasoline for the ND Orphan Grain Train Truck, which is transporting the donations. An additional $2,000 was donated to purchase needs in Western North Carolina.

A special thanks is due to the Thrivent Action Team, which included 24 adult volunteers who shared their gifts and talents, and to the 10 children who made cards of encouragement for the Carolinas.
