Kickoff time, TV information released for Wisconsin's showdown with No. 1 Oregon

The University of Wisconsin football team can't feel sorry for itself for long after a dismal performance Saturday.

This week's bye week allows for a turn of focus to No. 1 Oregon coming to town on Nov. 16, a game that will kick off at 6:30 p.m. and be televised on NBC. It will be the Badgers' third consecutive primetime game on NBC.

The Ducks -- assuming they handle business against Maryland this week -- will be the first top-ranked team to visit Camp Randall Stadium since Ohio State in 2010, a memorable upset win for the Badgers.

Wisconsin will bring a two-game losing streak into the game while Oregon hosts the Terrapins this weekend with an 8-0 record and the inside track to the Big Ten Championship Game.

Oregon has authored some of the more painful losses in Wisconsin history. Quarterback Justin Herbert ran for three touchdowns in the 2020 Rose Bowl to down the Badgers, who had two costly fumbles.

Russell Wilson wasn't able to spike a ball to set up a final shot at the end zone in the 2012 Rose Bowl, which the Ducks won by a touchdown.

No. 7 Oregon outdueled No. 22 Wisconsin in an early season showdown in Eugene in 2001. Wisconsin won the last meeting between these teams in Madison, a 27-23 win in 2000 powered by three interceptions from Jamar Fletcher.
