MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Two people are injured following a crash at I-40 West near North Watkins Streets, according to the Memphis Police Department (MPD).
Police responded to the crash just before 3:50 a.m., Saturday morning.
The driver of a Chevrolet Suburban was going west on I-40 when he was hit by an Acura going north, police said.
MPD said the driver of the Chevrolet Suburban told them he was driving west on I-40 and that all he was able to see was the car lights of the Acura driving towards him.
Both men were taken to the hospital in non-critical condition.
The driver of the Acura was given a citation for not maintaining a safe distance.
