The 76th Primetime Emmy Awards are being held this Sunday night, in a ceremony hosted by Eugene and Dan Levy and airing on ABC, live from the Peacock Theater at L.A. LIVE.
Heading into the 2025 Emmys, FX's Shōgun led the TV pack with 25 total nominations, including for Outstanding Drama and Lead Actress and Lead Actor in a Drama -- and it already has set a record, by collecting 14 statuettes at last weekend's Creative Arts ceremonies alone.
The Bear followed closely with 23 total nods, breaking a record for the most nominations in a single year in the comedy category (an honor previously held by 30 Rock). Only Murders in the Building followed with 21 total nominations, while True Detective: Night Country nabbed 19 and The Crown got 18 nods.
