The story follows Cleo, an eleven-year-old girl (played by Chloe Guidry), who finds herself captivated by the charismatic female hitchhiker (played by Jess Weixler) her mother picks up during a cross-country drive from Idaho to Los Angeles. What begins as a seemingly innocent encounter soon turns into something far more complex as Cleo and the hitchhiker form an unexpected bond.
