Juventus coach spent more than three hours re-watching his side's 1-0 loss to VfB Stuttgart in the Champions League on Tuesday night as the Bianconeri prepare for a quick turnaround with the Derby d'Italia lying ahead of them this weekend.
According to reports from Tuttosport, Thiago Motta re-watched Juve's 1-0 loss to Stuttgart twice over before he went to sleep on Tuesday night and into the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Juve had their fair share of critics on Tuesday night as they fell to the first loss of Thiago Motta's reign.
The Bianconeri did not look their usual selves, missing several key first-team players through injury. The players had Mattia Perin to thank, who saved a penalty a few minutes before the end of the 90, but Stuttgart eventually found the breakthrough three minutes into injury time.
Motta needed to get on top of his analysis with a Derby d'Italia against rivals Inter coming up in Serie A on Sunday. Juventus currently sit in third in the Serie A table, while Inter are one place and one point above them.
