I expect that the Dolphins miss the playoffs and the people mentioned in the headline will be on different franchise in demoted positions. What does Stephen Ross do in the off-season? Go ahead and put your predictions in the comments section.
My prediction: Ross tries to make a big splash and give the keys to the kingdom to Bill Belichick. Head coach and GM role. Belichick gets his pick of scouts, coaches, the whole enchilada. Some may think this is a mistake due to Bill's last 4 seasons in New England after Tom Brady left for Tampa, especially with some head scratching draft choices in those years. I think Bill has what it takes for one more ring before he rides off into the sunset for good. Maybe a 3 to 4 year deal where the expectation is one Super Bowl win or bust. By the end of that contract, he'll be 76 years old and then the Dolphins will look for a younger coach, maybe an assistant coach hand-picked by Bill to take over when he's done. Also, Miami loves retirees, so Bill would fit right in with South Florida culture!
