Announced by the Big Ten on Monday, the Michigan Wolverines' home finale for the 2024 season against the Northwestern Wildcats will kickoff at 3:30 p.m. and be aired on FS1.
Michigan has not played on FS1 yet this season, and has not played a whole lot on FOX networks, so it's no surprise that FS1 wanted to get at least one game before the end of the year.
Northwestern was on its bye this past weekend, but did enter the bye week on a high note after defeating Purdue the week before, 26-20. However, they lost four of the previous five games before that one, and are 4-5 overall (2-4 in the Big Ten) this year.
The Wolverines last played Northwestern in 2021 at the Big House. Michigan won that game, 33-7, led by two rushing touchdowns apiece for Blake Corum and Hassan Haskins. They also both ran for 100+ yards in that game, and the team ran for 294 total.
Michigan is on bye this upcoming weekend, while Northwestern will host Ohio State.
