The family of a Whippany Park girls soccer player who was seriously hurt in a car accident has set up a GoFundMe page and detailed the injuries that hospitalized the high school senior.

Molly Mack was injured when two SUVs collided on Route 24 in Morris County on Oct. 27, authorities said. The SUV that was struck overturned and left the teen badly hurt, State Police said. Mack is a team captain who is committed to High Point University.

Mack suffered "multiple fractures in her neck, swelling of the spine, broken ribs, a collapsed lung and a broken arm," according to the GoFundMe page set up by Jennifer Hamill Gullace and Thomas Hamill - Mack's aunt and uncle. Mack had a spinal fusion surgery after the accident to relieve pressure on her spine and stabilize her neck, according to the GoFundMe page.
