AGOURA HILLS (CNS) - Sheriff's officials sought the public's assistance Sunday in locating a 77-year-old man diagnosed with dementia who was last seen in Covina.

Luis Vega was last seen about 1 p.m. Saturday in the 16000 block of East Bridger Street, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

Vega was described as a 5-foot, 8-inch tall Latino man weighing 160 pounds with brown hair, brown eyes and a goatee. He was last seen wearing a blue T-shirt, black pants, a gold necklace and a gold watch.

He was believed to be traveling in a dark blue 2002 Ford F-150 with a California license plate 6Y32065
