The San Francisco 49ers and people who had high fantasy draft picks no longer have to wait. On Sunday when the NFC West team visits the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, running back Christian McCaffrey is expected to make his 2024 regular-season debut.

McCaffrey has been bothered by Achilles tendinitis. He went to Germany for treatment hoping to find a way to get himself back on the field. The 49ers went 4-4 in his absence.
