The Seattle Kraken host the Calgary Flames in a Pacific Division tilt tonight at Climate Pledge Arena.

My Flames analysis

The Calgary Flames' offense has gotten off to a tremendous start this season, which is the main reason for the team's 4-0 record. They rank in the Top 10 of the league in goals scored per game, power play percentage, and shooting percentage.

A big part of this success is forward Jonathan Huberdeau, who's tallied three goals through the first four outings. He skates on the first PP unit, which could strike against a Seattle Kraken team sitting in the bottom half of the league in both penalty minutes taken per game and PK percentage.

Huberdeau is also a threat at 5-on-5 alongside Martin Pospisil and Anthony Mantha. Despite the recent shuffling of line combinations, this line ranks first among the current four in xGF/60.

They're likely to be matched up against Seattle's second line of Eeli Tolvanen, Matty Beniers, and Andre Burakovsky. This is more good news for Huberdeau as this Kraken line is surrendering 2.78 xGA/60.

Finally, goaltender Joey Daccord backs up Seattle, and he's surrendered three or more goals in each of his two starts this season.

Flames vs Kraken same-game parlay (SGP)

If Huberdeau is going to score, someone will likely record an assist. A correlated outcome would be for Anthony Mantha to do just that, considering he skates alongside Huberdeau on the second line.

Mantha also carries two assists through four games, with one of those setting up a Huberdeau goal.

Another correlated play would be to include the Flames' moneyline if we are backing someone on their team to score. This season, Calgary outranks Seattle in xGF/60, xGA/60, and expected goal differential per 60 minutes.
