SPOKANE, Wash. - During the holiday season, many patients find themselves isolated in hospitals, unable to celebrate with loved ones. Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane is stepping up to support both patients and caregivers.

The hospital is staffed with mental health resources, nurses, doctors, social workers, and chaplains who are dedicated to helping those spending Christmas in a hospital bed.
