The center is also starting up a new series of sign language classes. Diana Emerson joined us on the Coca-Cola Porch to explain how sign language can be helpful for anyone.

Sign language classes at the Center for Individuals With Physical Challenges are for ages 13 and up and cost $120 for 10 weeks of lessons. Some scholarship opportunities may be available for parents of deaf/hard of hearing kids and those who are deaf/hard of hearing themselves.
