Adam Driver, Jeremy Strong, Anne Hathaway to Star in Crime Film 'Paper Tiger' for Director James Gray

Lionsgate is planning a busy fall of 2025, as it now has two top titles set for that stretch.

The company announced Tuesday that its Michael Jackson biopic Michael from director Antoine Fuqua is now slated to hit theaters in wide release on Oct. 3, 2025, moving back by six months from its previously planned release on April 18, 2025. Jaafar Jackson stars as the title pop star, with Nia Long, Laura Harrier, Miles Teller and Colman Domingo rounding out the cast.

Lionsgate has also set its comedy Good Fortune for wide theatrical release on Oct. 17, 2025. Aziz Ansari directs the film that he stars in alongside Seth Rogen, Keke Palmer, Sandra Oh and Keanu Reeves.
