A man wanted on multiple charges in Colorado was taken into custody without incident Saturday morning at his home in the Town of Byron, the Genesee County Sheriff's Office reported.
According to the report, deputies arrived with an arrest warrant at an address on Freeman Road about 10 a.m. and caught up with Jason M. Wood, 37, after seeing him riding away on an electric bicycle.
He was taken to Genesee County Jail in Batavia to await extradition to Adams County, Colo., near Denver, where he is wanted on two counts of sexual assault on a child, two counts of assault on a child by someone in a position of trust and one count of assault on a child in a pattern of abuse.
