Lock in more listeners with Spotify for Artists' new Campaign Kit

AUDIO streaming platform Spotify has unveiled a new toolkit to help artists lock in more listeners than ever before.

Whether you're a band hoping to hype up your latest release or you're a musician looking to engage the right audience, Spotify's Campaign Kit has been dubbed one of the best digital toolkits for the job.

Spotify for Artists Campaign Kit

It's more than likely that you've already heard of Spotify; the world's most popular audio-streaming subscription service, with more than 626 million users and over 200 million subscribers worldwide.

However, what emerging artists and their teams may not know is that those signed up for the service can access a free tool named 'Spotify for Artists'.

With this version of the digital tool, users can manage their artist profile, upload music, pitch music to playlist editors, and access data such as stream counts and audience stats.

Now, Spotify for Artists musicians and those who work within the industry will be pleased to learn that they can enjoy more tools thanks to the launch of the service's Campaign Kit.

In addition to features such as Playlist Pitching, the digital kit comes equipped with several new tools to help amplify your audience (even those who are already streaming) and take your music to new heights.

As mentioned above, the Campaign Kit consists of a feature some may already be familiar with, Playlist Pitching.

As its name suggests, Playlist Pitching is a legitimate tool that allows users to submit new and unreleased music to editors in a bid to land a place on one of several playlists.

It's also the only tool included within the Campaign Kit that can be accessed via mobile web.

In return, artists can gain new fans worldwide, and you don't just have to take our word for it.

According to the audio subscription service, between 2020 and 2021, more than 150,000 artists were playlisted for the first time.

In addition to this, Spotify for Artist users can also make use of three new features; Marquee, Discovery Mode, and Showcase.

The first new feature is a promotional tool that is ideal for artists who are aiming to attract the right audience.

Now, with access to Marquee, musicians and their teams can precisely target listeners based on their music history, while also reaching Spotify users when they're deciding what tune to play next.

Those signed up for the service can also make use of Showcase; a sponsored recommendation that shares your music to even more listeners.

Working in conjunction with other digital tools, Showcase attracts Spotify Free and Premium listeners who are most likely to tune into your library after coming across your campaign.

However, it's important to note that the above two promotional tools are only available to access if you have attracted over 1,000 streams within the last 28 days, in at least one required target market.

And that's not all; the Campaign Kit also comes equipped with a Discovery Mode tool that helps artists and their teams spot songs that are a priority.

These songs can then be added to the algorithms that power the service's personalized playlists.

Statistics shared by Spotify show that, on average, artists see an impressive increase in saves, user playlist adds and follows during the first month of using the Discovery Mode tool.

Like its fellow new features, users must meet certain eligibility requirements to access Discovery Mode.

Spotify states that users may be eligible for Discovery Mode if an artist team has at least three eligible songs, at least 25,000 monthly listeners, and an active Spotify for Artists team.
