The Kern County coroner's office on Thursday released the identity of the man who died Oct. 13 in a collision at Kern and Niles streets in Bakersfield.

Ignacio Javier Banderas Hernandez, 29, of Wasco was driving a vehicle that collided at 5:40 a.m. with another vehicle, the coroner's office reported. He died at the scene.
