Love's Arm Outreach to host fall fundraiser on September 20 - WDEF

News 12 This Morning: Inza Hagins-Dyer with Love's Arm Outreach joins News 12's Amelia Greer to preview a special fundraiser coming to Hixson on Sept. 20.

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) -- Love's Arm Outreach is raising awareness about human trafficking in our community.

Their newest fundraising event is hoping to support victims of commercial sex trafficking in Chattanooga.

The non-profit organization has supported men and women for years who survived brutal circumstances. They are now hoping to get more support from the greater Chattanooga community to help fund their efforts.

The title of their newest fundraiser, 'Resilient Voices' is bringing attention to the victims' lives after trafficking. Love's Arm wants to meet victims where they are and help them know that they are more than what happened to them.

Survivor, Hilary Roberts will be the keynote speaker. She is the founder of the Red Songbird Foundation, seeking to help people heal from the darkness of their past.

Resilient Voices will be held on September 20 in Hixson at The Ministry Center.

The public is encouraged to come out and learn more about the non-profit and how they can help. Donations are always welcomed.
