Jalen Hurts Rewrites NFL History Books in Blowout Win Over Dallas Cowboys

It's no secret the Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys are headed in opposite directions. The Eagles are playing as well as any team in the NFL, winners of five consecutive games following a blowout, 34-6 win over the Cowboys on Sunday afternoon. The Cowboys, however, have now lost four consecutive games and are planning for life without their starting quarterback for the remainder of the season, as Dak Prescott is considering season-ending surgery on his partially torn hamstring.

While the Cowboys search for answers at the QB position, the Eagles can't commiserate, as their QB, Jalen Hurts, singlehandedly rewrote THREE NFL RECORDS at the QB position on Sunday:

First QB in NFL history to have four seasons of 10+ rushing touchdowns (surpassing Cam Newton)First QB in NFL history to have 10+ rushing touchdowns in four consecutive seasons First QB in NFL history with a pass touchdown, rush touchdown, and 100+ passer rating in four consecutive game (surpassing Jim Hart, Jeff Hostetler, and Lamar Jackson)

Hurts went 14 of 20 for 202 yards with two touchdowns and a 115.0 passer rating, adding seven carries for 56 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's win.

If three new NFL records wasn't enough for one day's work, Hurts also set a new franchise record, becoming the first QB in franchise history to have multiple games of 2+ pass touchdowns, 2+ rush touchdowns.

Jalen Hurts continues to soar for the Eagles, and they will look to continue their rise through the NFC ranks when they take on the Washington Commanders on 'Thursday Night Football'.
