We're a day away from Tom Brady making his broadcasting debut for FOX.
Brady will be FOX's top color commentator for this season and nine seasons after that since he signed a 10-year $375 million contract with the network in 2022.
He'll be calling Sunday's Cowboys-Browns game in Cleveland alongside play-by-play announcer Kevin Burkhardt.
During FOX's telecast of Saturday's Michigan-Texas game, the network aired a commercial for Brady's debut. The commercial showed Brady doing some prep for the game while having voices telling him to do other things, like buying a soccer team.
Fans who watched it felt it was a bit much.
"I could be exaggerating but this is the worst piece of television ever created," one tweet read.
"Guys, he's calling a football game. This makes it seem like he's taking on Thanos," another tweet read.
"Might be a little much. He's calling a game, not becoming an astronaut," another fan tweeted.
"Extremely weird that they are trying to insinuate playing career is on the same level as a broadcasting career," another fan tweeted.
"It's so ridiculous. Do they think we're tuning in to watch him?" another tweet read.
Kickoff for Sunday's Cowboys-Browns game will be at 4:25 p.m. ET.
