Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, and Suniel Shetty star in the famous movie Hera Pheri, which fans love. There's talk about making a new sequel, but nothing's been confirmed yet. Akshay Kumar recently shared that if all goes well, they might start filming this year.

Talking to Pinkvilla, Akshay Kumar said, "Even I am waiting to start Hera Pheri 3. I don't know, but if everything goes well, it will start this year." The actor went on to state, "When we started Hera Pheri, we didn't know it would go ahead to become such a cult. Even when I saw the film, I didn't understand. Yes, it was funny, but none of us expected the characters of Babu Bhaiya, Raju, and Shyam to become a cult."

He also praised Paresh Rawal, with whom he is currently working in Bhooth Bangla. "We were just shooting for Bhooth Bangla in Jaipur, and I had lots of fun with him. During Hera Pheri, we had a lot of fun, but there are some things which can't be said on camera," he concluded.

Meanwhile, the movie Hera Pheri, released in 2000 and directed by Priyadarshan, featured Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty, and Paresh Rawal as three unlucky friends trying to make money, leading to funny and crazy situations. The film was a huge success and is still adored for its comedy and acting. Its sequel, Phir Hera Pheri, came out in 2006, showing what happens after the trio gets rich and then loses it all through more scams.

Fans are excited to see what's next for the Hera Pheri series, hoping it will stay true to its classic slapstick humor. Hera Pheri 3 is set to be a major release. Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar is preparing for his new movie, Sky Force, which will hit theaters on 24 January. The film also features Veer Pahariya, Sara Ali Khan, and Nimrat Kaur.
