Aircare was called to Oxford after a pedestrian was hit by a car Tuesday afternoon.

According to Butler County dispatchers, the pedestrian was hit in the intersection of South Main Street and East Spring Street. That intersection is currently closed as police respond to the scene.

Police and medic units are still on scene at this time, but the extent of the pedestrian's injuries is unknown.
