A 14-year-old boy was killed after a 17-year-old boy lost control of an SUV while joyriding in East Bexar County, near San Antonio.
Daniel James Krupalla, 17, has since been arrested and charged with manslaughter. His bail is set at $50,000.
Krupalla was reportedly driving "donuts" in a 2002 GMC Yukon at about 12:35 a.m. Saturday on a private property in the 900 block of Zigmont Road, a Bexar County Sheriff's Office report states.
The 14-year-old boy was hanging out of the rear window when the driver of the SUV lost control. The SUV flipped over twice.
The teen was fatally injured and died at the scene, deputies said.
EMS found five other people wounded, two of whom were also 14 years old.
Krupalla told deputies investigating the incident that he was the driver.
The parents of the other two 14-year-olds declined to pursue charges.
