MACHENIKE has revealed its brand new Creator Mini PC which features Intel's Core Ultra 200V "Lunar Lake" CPUs.
Intel's Core Ultra 200V "Lunar Lake" CPUs were introduced last month and now, the chips are being rolled out to various laptops which are available in retail. Besides laptops, the Lunar Lake platform is expected to be a great fit for Mini PCs & gaming handhelds, where Intel has been lagging behind the likes of AMD, which has had strongly positioned chips for this segment. Now, Lunar Lake is going to turn the tides.
During a recent Intel event in China, MACHENIKE showcased its brand new Creator Mini PC which is a 0.7-liter design featuring the Intel Core Ultra 7 258V CPU. This PC is a very compact design with a good set of IO ports which include two USB Type-A and a single Type-C port on the front, 2.5GbE LAN, and support for triple monitors.
In terms of specifications, the Intel Core Ultra 7 258V "Lunar Lake" CPU features a total of 8 cores arranged in 4+4 configuration (4 Lion Cove P & 4 Skymont E). The CPU has a base clock of 2.2 GHz and a boost clock of 4.8 GHz with 12 MB of cache, a base TDP of 17W, and a maximum turbo power of 37W. The iGPU-side features an Arc 140V part with 8 Xe2 cores & a GPU frequency of 1.95 GHz. The chip itself comes with 32 GB of LPDDR5x memory rated at 8533 MT/s speed.
Currently, ASUS & Khadas have unveiled their respective Intel Core Ultra 200V "Lunar Lake" CPU-powered Mini PCs such as the NUC 14 Pro AI and Mind MasterKit. The Mini PC will also target the AI segment with up to 115 peak AI TOPs and MACHENIKE has integrated some Copilot+ capabilities in their new design. No pricing or launch date is revealed but we can expect Lunar Lake handhelds & Mini PCs on the market in the next few months.
