Report: Boston Celtics among teams working out free agent wing Nasir Little

The Boston Celtics have evidently been even more busy trying to figure out what to do with their 15th roster spot than we previously knew, according to recent reporting from Spotrac's Keith Smith. Per Smith, the Celtics are one of several ball clubs that have worked out free agent wing Nassir Little, along with the Golden State Warriors, Miami Heat, and Sacramento Kings.

Part of the three-team trade that sent veteran floor general Damian Lillard to the Milwaukee Bucks, Little was dealt by the Portland Trail Blazers last offseason to the Phoenix Suns, but never really found his role with that ball club, and was waived as part of that team's efforts to find better fits around their star players while saving on their pricey roster.

Standing at 6-foot-6 and weighing 220 lbs., Little is anything but, and could provide some wing depth on a veteran minimum for Boston should all sides feel the fit is good.

An inconsistent shot from deep with career numbers of 33.0% from 3, the University of North Carolina alum is more likely to find the playing time he needs to grow his game with the Warriors, Heat, or Kings -- but a stint in Boston is certainly still on the table.
