The Dolphins will be without defensive lineman Zach Sieler, safety Jevon Holland, cornerback Kader Kohou and tight end Julian Hill for Sunday's game at Buffalo (1 p.m., CBS).
But receiver Tyreek Hill is expected to continue to play through a foot injury, coach Mike McDaniel said.
Fullback Alec Ingold had a soft issue injury that worsened this week, but McDaniel said he expects that Ingold will play, as well. And outside linebacker Emmanuel Ogbah said he will continue to play despite a tear in his biceps.
As for the four who will miss Sunday's game...
Sieler is dealing with a fractured orbital bone sustained in practice last week. Holland is working through a knee injury sustained in last Sunday's game against Arizona. Julian Hill has a shoulder injury, and Kohou has a neck issue.
Sieler has been seeking medical input about his injury and will wear a visor when he returns.
"What you're worried about is further injuring it," McDaniel said. "You need to be able to see. You have to prevent him from further injury."
Da'Shawn Hand is expected to replace Sieler, as he did last Sunday against Arizona.
Holland's knee injury isn't longterm, McDaniel said. Jordan Poyer and Marcus Maye are expected to start at safety against the Bills.
Kohou will miss a second consecutive game with a neck injury, but McDaniel said the severity wouldn't suggest that a stint on injured reserve is necessary. Players on IR must miss at least four games.
Julian Hill, who has led Dolphins tight ends in snaps, has been penalty-plagued but also is considered one of the best run-blocking tight ends in the league. Without him, Durham Smythe and Jonnu Smith likely will share snaps at tight end.
Meanwhile, receiver River Cracraft likely will spend at least another week on injured reserve.
McDaniel said he's leaning toward being "cautious" with the Cracraft timeline, suggesting he probably won't be activated for Sunday. "Leaning more toward next week," the coach said.
Cracraft sustained a shoulder injury during a preseason game and returned to practice on a limited basis this week. The Dolphins have 18 more days to activate him.
Meanwhile, Bills coach Christian Benford said receivers Amari Cooper and Curtis Samuel and cornerback Christian Benford (who had an interception in the Sept. 12 Dolphins-Bills game) are questionable for Sunday.
