Freshman Kaliyah Salley hit a shot from 30 yards in the 67th minute to send the Camas girls soccer team clinch a state playoff berth with a 2-1 win over Rogers of Puyallup in the 4A bi-district tournament match in Tacoma.

With the match tied 1-1 and Rogers trying to clear a Camas attack, Salley controlled the ball on the left side of the field, turned a lofted a long shot over the Rogers goalkeeper for the go-ahead goal.

Rachel Houston gave Camas a 1-0 lead in the 36th minute when she punched in a shot off a corner kick by Klyne Macke.

Alyce Chappelle's goal in the 51st minute got Rogers even at 1-1.

Bailey Lim, Camas volleyball, had 24 assists, six aces and four digs in a win over Battle Ground.
