Liverpool head coach Arne Slot has boldly stated that Mohamed Salah can continue his stellar performances well into his 30s, much like football legends Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
After Salah's latest goal in Liverpool's recent match against Brighton, Slot addressed the forward's impact, saying, "There is no reason to think he is dropping in terms of level," pointing to Salah's consistency and skill on the field. The Liverpool boss said:
"That's not what you see when you look at his numbers or what you see when he plays. I don't know how to say this in English, but I cannot tell you how the future will look like. Cristiano Ronaldo, what age is he at the moment? [39]. Messi is still incredible [at 37]. But there are also players like me who weren't as good any more at 33, not that I was so good at 26. I don't know what the future brings but I do know Mo is in a very good place."

Slot brushed off recent speculation stemming from Salah's cryptic social media post, which read, "No matter what happens, I will never forget what scoring at Anfield feels like."
He insisted that he hasn't discussed the post with Salah, instead focusing only on the forward's performances.
Slot noted, "For me, what is important is how he plays and what he tells me when we have conversations. That is what matters."
Slot also acknowledged that as long as Salah's contract, along with those of Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold, remains unsettled, questions will persist.
However, he emphasized that his primary focus with Salah is their upcoming Champions League clash with Bayer Leverkusen.
With speculation swirling, Liverpool fans are left hopeful that Salah, like Messi and Ronaldo, will continue delivering magical moments for years to come.
