Volunteers of the Burbank Animal Shelter's Online Silent Auction: The auction begins, 8 a.m. Sept. 13 and runs through 6 p.m. Sept. 15. The fundraiser for the animal shelter has more than 300 items including entertainment experiences, gift baskets, restaurant gift cards, retail gift certificates, memorabilia items and wine tasting. Minimum age to place bids: 18; must be age 21 to bid on alcoholic beverage items. Auction winners will pick up their prizes from the Burbank Animal Shelter (auction items cannot be shipped).
