More chilling details have emerged in a double homicide in Rockland County, where the 19-year-old suspect posted a wholesome TikTok video before allegedly beating two victims to death to stop them from calling for help, police said.
Alan "Alina" Abad of Westwood, NJ is charged with first-degree murder in the deaths of Evelyn Aguilar-Agustin and Anabelly Aguilar, whose bodies were discovered inside a Gesner Drive residence in Spring Valley around 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 15, according to the Spring Valley Police Department.
According to a criminal complaint, Abad allegedly beat both victims multiple times in the head and body, first attacking Aguilar-Agustin in an effort to prevent her from calling the police before fatally striking Aguilar before she could do the same.
The incident marked a sudden, tragic turn of events in the night. Just before the grisly attack, Abad posted a TikTok video that shows her eating pizza with her aunt, captioned: "I love my auntie.☺️"
Abad also shared another video of her dancing outside, seemingly carefree, hours before the brutal killings took place, as Daily Voice reported.
As the community mourns the tragic deaths, a GoFundMe campaign has been launched to help the victims' families cover funeral expenses.
On the campaign page, the organizers called the victims "two beautiful angels" who were lost in a "horrible, violent tragedy that should have never occurred."
"Due to the unexpected losses of both these women, our family is torn and is working to pick up the pieces," the organizers continued, adding, "We aim to raise money for funeral costs for our loved ones that passed too soon."
As of Thursday, Feb. 20, the effort had collected over $13,200 in donations, nearly meeting its goal of $14,000.

According to Spring Valley Police, Abad was arrested less than 24 hours after the murders. She was arraigned before a judge and remanded to the Rockland County Jail without bail. Abad knew both victims, according to police, who declined to say how.
