Adjustable coilovers and massive brakes have also been added.
No American company does restomods quite like Ringbrothers, and the tuning outfit has just unveiled one of its wildest creations to date at SEMA. Called 'Infected,' it's a bright pink 1970 Plymouth 'Cuda, which has been completely overhauled inside and out, as well as under the skin.
Ringbrothers says it's spent 5,600 hours making this dramatic Cuda a reality. Underpinning the extreme muscle car is a custom Roadster Shop chassis that has stretched the wheelbase by 1.5 inches. New independent rear suspension has been added alongside Fox RS SV coilovers at all four corners. There's also a new front sway bar at the front and a custom Woodward steering rack.

The stunning bodywork has then been overhauled and is bathed in a bespoke color known as Pink Eye. A set of 20-inch front and 21-inch rear wheels from HRE add to the dramatic looks, as does the custom hood with a huge scoop that could probably swallow up a small child. Plenty of chrome and black accents complete the look.
Then we get to the powertrain. Ringbrothers has fitted one of Mopar's 6.2-liter supercharged V8 'Hellcrate' motors with a cool 807 hp and 717 lb-ft (972 Nm) of torque, mating it to a Tremec TR-6060 six-speed transaxle driving the rear wheels through a Wavetrac differential. A custom exhaust and bespoke headers have also been added. No acceleration figures have been released but we're sure this 'Cuda is an absolute weapon. It's probably quite a handful, too.
Helping to transmit the power to the ground are sticky Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires while ensuring it can brake just as well as it accelerates are aftermarket Baer brakes.
There's plenty to like about the cabin of 'Infected' too. It has been overhauled by Upholstery Unlimited and features plush white leather contrasted by surfaces trimmed in black leather with white contrast stitching. There are also plenty of carbon fiber accents, custom gauges by Dakota Digital, a new steering wheel, and a Vintage Air climate control system. A thumping sound system with twin 10-inch subwoofers completes the upgrades.
