New Loungefly Backpack and Purse Spotted in Italy Pavilion at EPCOT

Capture the spirit of the Italian Riviera with these new Italy-themed Loungefly bags at EPCOT!

We spotted them for sale at La Gemma Elegante in the Italy Pavilion.

These bags are the newest addition to the growing collection of pavilion-specific Loungefly bags. Previously, we covered the Three Caballeros backpack from the Mexico pavilion.

The bag is blue with yellow accents. Mickey rows Minnie on a gondola past yellow buildings, with Spaceship Earth looming in the background. The gondola is stitched on, giving it a three-dimensional effect and concealing a front pocket zipper. Above Mickey and Minnie is a string of lights with the words "Viva Topolino" carried across. "Topolino" is the Italian name for Mickey Mouse.

The sides of the bag also feature string lights across the slip pockets. On the right side is the Disney Parks Loungefly badge.

The back of the bag showcases the EPCOT wordmark on more string lights across the bottom edge. The rest of the back is a textured green. The bag has glow-in-the-dark elements.

The top of the bag has lighter blue patterning akin to Spaceship Earth, and a goldtone zipper to open the bag. There is also a front pocket behind Mickey's gondola.

The interior lining has Italian quotes in varying fonts alongside Mickey and Minnie in travel clothes. Spaceship Earth is also outlined in the background.

The purse is circular and can be worn crossbody with an adjustable strap. The front of the bag has Mickey in a blue collared shirt, tan pants, and a fedora with a blue rim. He is leaning on a silhouetted lamp post in front of the Italy Pavilion. Amidst the blue, cloudy sky is Spaceship Earth's outline.

The EPCOT wordmark is on the bottom right. Three-dimensional yellow flowers stick out of the image and the portrait is bordered by light blue triangular patterning.

The opposing side features the same background, except the EPCOT wordmark has been moved to the left. Mickey has been replaced by Minnie riding a bike with roses in the front basket. She is wearing a tan and blue dress and her sun hat is flying off her head.

The sides of the bag are plain with no patterns. The right side has the Disney Parks Loungefly badge.

The green straps feature more yellow flowers that can be seen on the front and back of the bag.

The interior of the bag features the words "Ciao Amici" alongside the same image of Minnie on her bike, as well as Mickey and Minnie on a gondola.
