Jessica Alba and Cash Warren have split after more than 20 years together, the actor confirmed in a statement Jan. 16.

Alba and Warren, who have been married for 16 years, are "moving forward with love, kindness and respect for each other and will forever be family," Alba said in a statement she posted to Instagram.

"I've been on a journey of self realization and transformation for many years -- both as an individual and in partnership with Cash. I'm proud of how we've grown in our marriage over the last 20 years and it's now time for us to embark on a new chapter of growth and evolution as individuals," she said.

The "Honest Renovations" star asked for privacy amid their split and said their children "remain our highest priority."

Alba met Warren, a film producer, while she was filming 2005's "Fantastic Four." They got married in May 2008 and went on to welcome three children: Honor, 16, Haven, 13, and Hayes, 7.

Reports of the couple's split first broke a week before she published her statement.

On Jan. 3, she shared photos of Warren and their family together to celebrate Hayes' birthday at Universal Studios, calling it "the best day."

Alba had celebrated her and Warren's 16th wedding anniversary with an Instagram post on May 19, 2024.

"16 years of marriage, 20 years together and forever to go," she wrote in her caption at the time. "I'm proud of us for making it this far."
