How does CeraVe hair care work?
So, what's the magic behind CeraVe's hair care products? Ceramides have been CeraVe's hero ingredient since the beginning (hence the name CeraVe), and it's no wonder why. Ceramides are known to be ultra-gentle, hydrating and nourishing, and they're especially great for restoring the skin barrier -- and they restore the scalp barrier, too.
The anti-dandruff line is made with 1% pyrithione zinc, which the brand says can remove up to 100% of visible flakes to cut down on itching and irritation. A consumer test the brand conducted found "97% of testers agreeing that their scalp immediately felt clean, 94% agreed their hair felt manageable and 93% agreed their hair felt moisturized for 24 hours."
