The New York Jets host the New England Patriots in East Rutherford, New Jersey in the Jets' 2024 home opener on Thursday Night Football in Week 3 of the Jets' 2024 campaign. Both the Jets and the Patriots have released their final injury reports for the game.

For the Jets, defensive end Jermaine Johnson is out, most likely for the entire 2024 season, with a torn achilles tendon. Linebacker C.J. Mosley is listed as questionable with a toe injury. Running back Breece Hall (quadriceps), cornerback Michael Carter (ankle), and cornerback D.J. Reed (knee) all do not have an injury designation and are expected to play. Receiver Mike Williams will continue to ramp up his playing time with his ongoing recovery from ACL surgery, and pass rusher Haason Reddick will be out due to his ongoing holdout.

For the Patriots, linebacker Ja'Whaun Bentley (shoulder), offensive tackle Vederian Lowe (knee), guard Sidy Sow (ankle) and linebacker Oshane Ximines (knee) are all listed as out for the game. In addition, center David Andrews (hip), offensive lineman Mike Onwenu (wrist), safety Jabrill Peppers (shoulder) and defensive end Deatrich Wise Jr (shoulder) are all listed as questionable.

The Jets were listed as 6.5-point favorites earlier in the week, according to our friends at FanDuel Sportsbook. That line hasn't budged, but maybe it should, given the many Patriots injuries, particularly along the offensive line. With the Patriots lacking in offensive firepower at the skill positions, a banged up Patriots offensive line should allow the Jets defense to control this game, even without Jermaine Johnson and possibly C.J. Mosley. In addition, with the Patriots having injured defensive players at every level of the defense, a healthy Jets offense should have some opportunities to do damage on Thursday night.
