So far, these new betas are pretty light on new features. As reported by 9to5Mac, the main change is that Apple's Home app is showing traces of upcoming support for robot vacuum cleaners. This will allow users of such devices to control their core features from the Home app, add them to their cleaning routines, and even tell Siri to start a cleaning session.
For Apple Silicon Mac users, the first beta of macOS Sequoia 15.3 also introduces Genmoji support. This new Apple Intelligence feature launched last week on iOS 18.2 and iPadOS 18.2, and it lets users with eligible iPhones and iPads create custom emoji using a natural language prompt. It's not clear why Mac users had to wait for this feature, but it's coming with the next macOS update.
It remains to be seen if Apple could introduce new Apple Intelligence features in future betas. Bloomberg's Mark Gurman previously reported that iOS 18.4, which is expected to be released in April 2025, will make Siri aware of users' personal context as well as what's on the screen so it can take action in and across apps. iOS 18.4 should also be the update that will make Apple Intelligence available on eligible iPhones and iPads in the EU.
