The Funk Zone Live team of business owners invites the community to its celebration of the holiday season, 5-8 p.m. Dec. 6.

The event will feature an art installation by local artist Brad Knack. His whimsical piece "Fresh Reindeer" will be displayed in the window, and Knack will be on the patio to share additional works and talk with visitors at SBMidMod, 223 Anacapa St.

The Riviera Beach House, 121 State St., will showcase cyanotype artwork by local artist Hýong Ngô, presented in collaboration with the Museum of Contemporary Art Santa Barbara.

"Funk Zone Live 2024 was envisioned to bring the local community into local businesses during quieter months," said Jana Brody, Funk Zone Live coordinator, artist, and SB Arts Commissioner.

"We skipped June for Solstice and August for Fiesta, allowing 25 local businesses to band together for unique artsy shopping experiences with music, food and drinks," she said.
