Nico Collins isn't back yet, but he's close entering Week 10's showdown vs. the Detroit Lions.
Collins, who missed four games while on the injured reserve with a hamstring injury, was designated for return/returned to practice, the Houston Texans announced Friday. The fourth-year pass-catcher was at practice as the team prepares to welcome in the NFC favorites on Sunday Night Football.
While Collins is cleared to practice, that doesn't mean he'll play against the NFC North favorites. The Texans could be prepping him to return for Monday Night Football next week at AT&T Stadium against the Dallas Cowboys rather than trying to rush him back.
Even if he's not back yet, this is a sign in the right direction that Houston's getting healthy at the right time. Here's how the fans reacted to the new of the human highlight reel's return to practice.
