Vanderbilt punched Texas in the mouth early on Saturday with an interception and subsequent touchdown run by star quarterback Diego Pavia. With the Longhorns down 7-0, the offense needed to find an answer quickly, and Quinn Ewers delivered with an impressive touchdown drive capped off by a catch from Matthew Golden.

Ewers threw the early pick that he'll wish he could have back, but he's now completed 9-10 passes for 77 yards and a touchdown. With Isaiah Bond out and Ryan Wingo potentially limited by a pregame injury, Golden will take on a more significant role in the passing game today.
