BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. (WSBT) -- Police in Michigan are investigating after a "Pure Michigan" sign was found shot several times.

In a post made on social media, Michigan State Police (MSP) say the sign on US-31 in Bertrand Township was shot 18 times.

Officials believe a rifle was used to shoot the sign.

No suspects have been determined at this time.
