SHREVEPORT, La. - Stand Sunday, also known as Orphan Sunday, will be recognized Sunday in churches worldwide.
Representatives with Geaux 4 Kids joined KTBS 3 Midday to help spread the word on how the local community can get involved.
Geaux 4 Kids said Stand Sunday encourages congregations across the state of Louisiana to recognize individuals' roles in helping the most vulnerable children in the community, including those who are homeless, abused, neglected, and in need of permanent safety and love.
