The top-seeded Rowan University field hockey team defeated fourth-seeded Stockton 4-0 in the New Jersey Athletic Conference Tournament semifinals Wednesday.
Kylie Elwell (Egg Harbor Township H.S.) scored a goal in the first quarter to give the Profs (13-7) a 1-0 lead. Freshman Jenna Gray, who also graduated from EHT, scored twice for Rowan.
Erika Roura made five saves for the Ospreys (10-9). Kaelin Drey made a defensive save in the loss. Kirsten Bailey finished with a team-leading four shots on net.
Rowan, ranked 25th in NCAA Division III, will face The College of New Jersey in the NJAC final at 6 p.m. Saturday.
