KCRA Weekend Roundup: Sacramento-area things to do for Oct. 25-27

Looking for things to do this holiday weekend? Here's a list of events happening in Northern California from Friday, Oct. 25, through Sunday, Oct. 27.

The third annual multi-ethnic Golden Harvest Parade starts at 11:30 a.m. Saturday along Capitol Mall in downtown Sacramento. Afterward, there will be a vendor fair, live performances and an artwork contest at the West Field of the State Capitol building. Free admission. Learn more.

Halloween in the Park

The Arden Manor Recreation and Park District is hosting a family-friendly carnival event. There will be games and candy. Costume-wearing is encouraged. The event runs from 4-7 p.m. Saturday at Deterding Park in Arden-Arcade. Free admission. Learn more.

Socktoberfest Family Faire

There will be free food, face painting, sock sorting, music, carnival games and prizes from 3-6 p.m. Saturday at Mosaic Village in West Sacramento. The event is organized by Yolo Arts, the Center for Land-Based Learning and Wonder Grove. Free admission. Learn more.

CLARA's Skele-bration

There will be more than 20 vendors, food trucks, games and a kid's costume parade from 5-9 p.m. Saturday at CLARA Studios in Midtown. An outdoor movie screening starts at 7 p.m. Free admission. Learn more.

Frightfully Fun Carnival

There will be candy, games and activities from 1-4 p.m. Saturday at Howe Community Park in Sacramento. The event is organized by the Fulton-El Camino Recreation & Park District. Learn more.

This Stockton Black Expo this year will celebrate the 60th anniversary of the signing of the 1964 Civil Rights Act by hosting an awards gala. There will also be a job fair, informational booths, live entertainment, a car show and more. The event runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the San Joaquin County Fairgrounds in Stockton. Free admission. Annual Safe Trick or Treating

There will be resource vendors, candy and games from 3-7 p.m. Friday at the Courthouse Plaza in Stockton. Free admission. Learn more.

Annual Harvest Carnival

There will be candy, carnival games, pizza, popcorn and trunk-or-treating from 5-8 p.m. Friday at Quail Lakes Baptist Church in Stockton. Free admission. Learn more.

Dia De Los Muertos Family Day

A Halloween-themed art walk will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday outside the Grand Theatre Center For The Arts in Tracy. There will be food trucks, vendors and more. Learn more.

Annual Monster Mash Halloween Bash

The eighth annual Monster Mash Halloween Bash runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Pixie Woods Amusement Park in Stockton. There will be a magic show, treat bags, music, a carousel ride, a photo booth and a pumpkin giveaway. Tickets are $6. Kids ages 2-12 dressed in a costume get in free. Learn more.

Trick-or-Treat at Yosemite Village

There will be candy, hot cocoa and a "Beetlejuice" movie screening from 5-7 p.m. Saturday at Yosemite Street Village in Stockton. At 6 p.m., there will be a costume contest. Free admission. Learn more.
