EMILY GLASSCOCK CITY OF ENTERPRISE

With the opening of the Enterprise Recreation and Aquatic Center just a few short months away, the Enterprise City Council on Tuesday approved membership rates and walk-in fees as well as hours of operation for the $23-million facility.

Memberships will be billed annually and will begin the day of sign up. Individual memberships will cost $150, while active-duty military members with valid ID and senior citizens (ages 65+) will be $140. Additional family member memberships will be $100 per person. All users under the age of 16 require parental supervision.

Memberships will include access to the recreation center during open hours, access to the strength and cardio rooms, access to leisure pool with lap lanes during designated times when in season (April through September). Members will also be able to utilize open gym hours for sports such as basketball, volleyball, pickleball, etc. during designated hours. Additional benefits include a discount of $5 on Enterprise Parks and Recreation programs (excluding all other discounts) as well as no charge for daily locker usage, while supplies last.

Non-members will be able to pay to utilize the facility, aquatic center, and/or fitness classes. Ages 6 and older will be required to pay the $5 fee to enter, plus an additional $5 per person if they choose to use the aquatic center. Fitness class drop-in rates will be $10 per person, if class space is available.

Enterprise City Council also adopted facility hours of Monday through Friday, 5 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. The pool, which will be open from April to September, will be open Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. The facility will follow the holiday schedule set by the City of Enterprise.

A grand opening/ribbon cutting celebration is being planned by EPRD staff and will be free and open to the public.
