Cassie Sharlene McDaniel, 84, of Owensboro, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 15, 2024 at her home. She was born on March 3, 1940 in Daviess County to the late Hubert and Virgina Howard. She was a retired nurse. Cassie was a 1961 graduate of Owensboro Catholic High School and graduated from St. Mary School of Nursing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Christopher Dunkel; son, Phillip McDaniel; and a sister, Sharon Hill.
