After a student collapsed and died during physical education in a public middle school in Houston, parents are searching for answers about the school's response. Staff tried to use an automated external defibrillator on the boy but said the device wasn't working. The devices are found in schools, malls and restaurants, and are supposed to be maintained. A recent inspection found that 170 defibrillators in Houston Public Schools aren't working.
