A limited liability company affiliated with Daniele Family Companies has acquired a Monroe Avenue hotel that is adjacent to a string of properties already in firm's real estate portfolio.

Oakfield Hotel LLC, an entity managed by the Brighton-based management and development company, paid $2 million for the Clarion Pointe Rochester Monroe Avenue hotel.

The property is a two-story, 43-room hotel that underwent remodeling and rebranding in 2019, maintaining the Choice Hotels flag but changing from a Comfort Inn to the Clarion Pointe name.

The Clarion Pointe is at 2729 Monroe Ave., and bridges the string of properties owned by Daniele Family Companies, starting with the developer's headquarters at 2851 Monroe Ave. and including Country Inn & Suites by Radisson at 2835, a retail plaza at 2815, Chipotle at 2735 and City Mattress at 2717.

One of Daniele's most prominent developments, the plaza that is home to Whole Foods, is directly across Monroe Avenue from the hotel and other portfolio properties.

S & A Hospitality Inc., an entity managed by Shailesh and Mickeyben Patel, had owned the Clarion Pointe property since 2018.

A bankruptcy proceeding involving the hotel that launched in April was terminated in May.
